Privacy Policy

Information processed
Teacher accounts may include a name, email address, school name, account preferences, and the classroom information entered into the service. Classroom information may include student names, nicknames, grade level, course or period information, attendance, behavior, rewards, seating arrangements, assignments, and grades.
Student accounts are created and managed by a teacher. RoomoorHQ does not require student email addresses. Student login credentials are used only to authenticate the student account.
RoomoorHQ and its infrastructure providers may process limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser information, request logs, and authentication or security events.
How information is used
Information is used to provide classroom-management features, authenticate accounts, maintain security, respond to support requests, and improve the reliability of the service. RoomoorHQ does not sell personal information, serve targeted advertising, or use student information for marketing or behavioral profiling.
Service providers and optional integrations
RoomoorHQ uses service providers to operate the service, including Cloudflare for hosting and security, Supabase for authentication and database services, and Resend for transactional account emails. When a teacher chooses to import from Google Sheets, Google processes the information needed to provide that teacher-authorized import. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to RoomoorHQ.
Data control and deletion
Teachers control the classroom information they create and may use available account tools to review, export, or delete applicable data. Account-deletion and privacy requests can also be sent to support@roomoorhq.com. Requests are verified before information is disclosed or deleted. Information may be retained for a limited period when reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, or provider backup processes.
Student information
RoomoorHQ is designed for teacher-managed classroom use. A teacher who creates a student account is responsible for having appropriate authority to provide the student information and enable that student's access. Before RoomoorHQ is offered more broadly to schools, districts, or students, its student-data practices, retention procedures, and related notices will be reviewed and expanded as appropriate.
Security
RoomoorHQ uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes and contact
This policy may change as RoomoorHQ develops. The current version and its effective date will be posted on this page. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to support@roomoorhq.com.
